London Day 5
And on day 5 we went unto Kew gardens! They have lots of open space, trees, and giant Victorian greenhouses.
I've been wanting this shot since I first saw Carl Sagan hanging out here in Cosmos. It's the Palm House.

When we went into the Palm House, my lens immediately fogged over. They have palms from all over the world in there, and it's warm and muggy. Ahhhh, just like home!

As I said... From all over the world.

In the Temperate House, where we went next, they had all these neat glass things by an artist named Chihuly, that looked like alien plants. They were all interspersed with the real plants, and sometimes it was hard to tell which was which.

After we left the gardens, we had yummy fish & chips from the Kew Fish Bar. Dig the hats they wear!

Much later that nightm we ate at a cute little Italian restaurant called Maggiano's (no relation to the chain we have over here). Look, it's a flying pig!

Then we had to wait like 45 minutes for a cab after dinner, so it was time for more drunken fun with camera and mirror!
