London Day 3
Hi All,
Finally back from the holidays and had some more time to catch up on the blogging. I've got pictures sitting in my camera of the drywall that is now up in the new house, but that will have to wait!
Here we are in front of Buckingham Palace...

Where we saw the Changing of the Guard:

Then we went to the Cafe Rouge, a cute little french bistro right across the street from...

Harrod's! Big freakin' store.

Later that night... We went to the London Eye:

Here we are in one of the pods, where the fabric of reality is subtly strange.

This is the view from the Eye looking back toward Trafalgar Square. It's really hard to spot, but Lord Nelson's Column is just around the center of the picture.

This is looking toward Westminster, on the north side of the Thames...

After wandering around for awhile, Jared's food radar led us to a tapas restaurant, coincidentally named La Tasca, which is almost like our favorite tapas place in Boston - Tasca. There was quite a wait, so we had drinks at the bar and I got blurry...

And then we finally got a table and ordered yummy tapas! This was the best meal we had the whole vacation!

Then we took the tube back to the hotel!
