London Ho!

Hello Family and Friends! At long last, we have some time to update the blog. We're here in London, on the first leg of our european vacation. It's the evening of our 4th night here, and we've just returned from seeing The Producers in the West End, followed by a wonderful Indian dinner. But more about that in due time. First, here are some highlights from the first 2 days.

After about 5 minutes of a fun flight, we settled in for an uncomfortable, delayed slog, through snowy detroit and fought extreme fog to land at London's Gatwick airport.
























We didn't take many pictures early on the first day, instead concentrating on staying awake and not looking too obviously like tourists. However, in the evening we walked around Trafalgar Square. Neat fountains there, in front of the National Gallery:

Then we decided to scout the London Eye, and on the way there we found a cute carousel and went for a ride:
